Other honourees from the world of entertainment are Malayalam actor Mammooty, who was named for the Padma Bhushan this year. Ace Bollywood playback singer, Alka Yagnik, was named for the Padma Bhushan. R Madhavan, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Late Satish Shah were supposed to be honoured with the Padma Shri. However, in the first phase of the investiture ceremony, only 66 awardees were honoured. Along with Dharmendra, Bengali actor Prosenjit Chatterjee received the honour today.
